i watched the movie Hachi this weekend, it was such an amazing tell. The story really happened in Japan but in the movie it took place in America. A professor finds an akita and the dog waits on him everyday at the train station to come home, one day the professor died. The dog Hachi spent the next nine years of his life waiting on his master to come home. He would wait all day infront of the station. In Japan in Tokyo square there is a statue honoring the dogs memory. It was a moving tale of true friend ship. In my opinion dogs possess a greater ability to love than we could ever obtain. Dogs love honestly and expect nothing in return, they protect and seek nothing but our approval, if only we weak minded humans could love and express compassion like a dog does I think the world would be a better place. I think our friends Boo and the super fast lurcher would love this film as well.

Dearest gentle giant was not interested in his food two days ago, which is very unusual. We made a bed for him inside the house, covered him with a blanket and gave him his little teddy to keep him company. The next day Impi was taken to the vet accompanied by his blanket and Teddy! he survived and is probably chasing his great dane sister tessa as I am typing this
