Lacey Day #4

Lacey has been home four days today. She is doing a well as can be expected. She has been sleeping a lot, of course. Between not being able to do anything and the pain meds she has nothing else to do. Luckily she has been leaving her stitches alone for the most part. She is walking only when she goes out to go potty and then she walks on three legs though she has touched her toes down to the ground when standing for a few seconds at a time which is a good sign.

Her leg was so bruised yesterday that we called just to make sure all was okay with her. We didn't remember it being that red last time but we emailed a photo to them and they said it looked normal. Maybe it is normal but it looked terrible :( Poor baby girl. We still have 11.5 weeks to go. It is going to be a long time....
