I am in charge today.

Well today I am in charge. Mommy has an extra long shift. We got up early today and I had a good run and I did some agility practice. I have lots of toys, a great big window to look out and see what is going on and some nice soothing music. Mommy is going to come home half way through the day so I can have another walk. It is nice to have a day to do just what I want. I may even go and sleep on mommy's bed. I do not mind as I know I will get extra, extra attention when mommy gets home.

FIRST WEEK

SO WE HAVE HAD MACDOUGAL FOR A WEEK NOW. HE HAS GONE FROM SHY AND TIMID TO A MORE CONFIDENT AND SOMETIMES VERY ASSERTIVE LITTLE FELLOW. BUSTER OUR CHIHUAHUA HAS BECOME MORE ACCEPTING OF MAC BUT STILL HOLDS THE TOP SPOT IN THE HOUSE.

MAC IS VERY LOVING AND JUST LOVES BEING ON A LAP. HE IS VERY INTELLIGENT AS HE LEARNED TO NAVIGATE THE 2 DOGGIE DOOR SYSTEM AT THE HOUSE. HE IS NOT MUCH INTERESTED IN THE FEW TOYS WE HAVE IN THE HOUSE, BUT IS INTERESTED IN MY WIFE'S BLUE SLIPPERS. HE DOESN'T CHEW THEM UP, BUT HE DOES DRAG THEM INTO THE HALLWAY TO BE FOUND ON MY RETURN FROM WORK.

HE IS STARTING TO GET A LITTLE FAT ON HIS LITTLE FRAME. HE IS IN GOOD HEALTH SO FAR. THE INTESTINAL PARASITES ARE BEING TREATED WITH ANTIBIOTICS AND WILL BE TESTED AGAIN IN 10 DAYS OR SO.

HE IS A REAL ADDED JOY TO THE HOUSE!
