Caring for a Broodle Griffon
Feeding: Free feed; they know what is sufficient.
Living with a Broodle Griffon
Shedding: Zero shedding after adulthood is reached.
Grooming: Depends on the coat you get with your puppy. Some are like a poodle's coat which can be difficult to maintain. We were blessed with ours. His is wavy and very easy to manage.
Behavior: Very loyal pets, Calm, Well behaved.
Barking: They do bark alot, as most poodles do. However, they are not high strung like most poodles. I've interacted with four Brussapoos and none of them were high strung. They're healthy, solid dogs.
Weather: Needs warm weather. They are small dogs. Never subject them to winter elements. Train them to use a Potty Patch indoors.
Exercise: Indoor playtime is generally enough exercise for this crossbred.
Broodle Griffon Appearance
Companionship: Stellar companion pets. They are very loyal, but also socialize very well.
Head: Generally the head of a Brussapoo will be shaped like a poodle OR like a Brussels Griffon. Seldom is it the combination of both. Sometimes though, it is.
Eyes: Eyes can be beady and tiny like a poodle or large and protruding like a Brussels Griffon.
Ears: The ears of a Brussapoo are floppy, and generally short.
Teeth/Bite: Generally this crossbreed will have an overbite, obtained due to the Brussels Griffon half of the dog.
Hindquarters: Sturdy, solid, and thus far, ours has no hip issues whatsoever.
Feet: Can be small and delicate like a poodle or widespread and stocky like a Brussels.
Tail: Tail can be long, or short, as some breeders dock the tails.
Color: The majority of Brussapoos/Broodle Griffons are a mix of charcoal, tan, and apricot.
Coat: Coats can be smooth like a smooth-coat Brussels Griffon, ultra-curly like a poodle, or wavy (a mix of both).
Broodle Griffon Health
Allergies: No allergies, and they are hypoallergenic.
Bone Health: Strong and solid bones.
