Personality: The Poovanese is an outgoing, super affectionate and playful dog.
Family Dog: Yes, Poovanese are great with little children but should be supervised, or the children could eaisly hurt this small dog. They are wonderful with older people as well as they love any age.
Shedding: Poovanese do not shed because Havanese and Poodles are a non-shedding dogs.
Grooming: Poovanese are non-shedding so they need to be brushed every other day and brought to the groomers once in a while.

Health: Both Poodles and Havanese are prone to Pateller Luxation so that is a concern, you should do a ton of reaserch about both breeds before getting one.
Ear Health: The Poovanese can get yeast infections because Bichon breeds and Poodles get little hairs in their ears to cause it. They should be plucked out of the ear with your fingers, it does not hurt the dog and the hairs should come out eaisly.
