Living with a Doxi-Pekepoo

Personality: The Doxi-Pekepoo is a comical dog. They are constantly doing things to make you laugh and get your attention.

Shedding: Depending on the type of coat the Doxi-Pekepoo inherits it can be a low shedding dog.

Grooming: The Doxi-Pekepoo requires regular grooming.

Training: The Doxi-Pekepoo can be extremely difficult to housebreak like the Dachshund. However, once they get it they are usually very trustworthy. They learn other commands and tricks rather quickly using positive methods.

Weather: The Doxi-Pekepoo is able to withstand cold temps of about 10 degrees F for short lengths of time. They like to play outside in the cold but can get compacted snow on their underside and need to be brought in to warm up. They typically do well in the summer temps.

Exercise: The Doxi-Pekepoo loves to exercise both inside and out. They love to go on daily walks.

Physical Ability: The Doxi-Pekepoo is actually quite strong for their size.
