Landyn's Story & Details
My fiance and I rescued Landyn from the Toronto Humane Society on February 14, 2009. He was there for two months after his previous owners said he was too aggressive and food possessive. We know the family that gave him up had kids and we think they didn't treat him well as he doesn't trust kids easily, he is wary of them until he gets to know them.

We took him home and immediately put him into training twice a week for 6 months. He did have some aggression issues as well as dominance issues when we first started but has since come full circle and he is a joy to have in our family. He's still a bit wary around new kids but has never attempted to harm any any of them, he just keeps his distance until he's sure they aren't going to hurt him.

Landyn loves to play wrestle, or as we like to call it play the 'biting arm game' with my fiance. He never actually bites, just knaws at his arm. It's cute, and they both wear out a lot of energy this way!

He is also a non stop fetch playing dog! From the moment he wakes us up for his morning walk at 6:00am (keeps me in great shape too btw) to the minute we go to bed at 10:00pm he would love to play fetch the entire time if we let him. We've learned to incorporate this into our everyday lives and while some people think it might be a bit much, he's just a dog who loves to play and we love to play with him too. If we do get tired we just tell him to 'go find a toy' and he will lay down and relax.

Landyn is the most affectionate and protective dog. He loves to cuddle with me on the couch and always makes sure we know when something is amiss by barking.

He's an amazing part of our lives and we love him very very much.
