Lucky's Story & Details
My husband and I had been wanting a dog for quite some time but hadn't begun the search for just the right dog. After a long day at school (I was in graduate school at the time), I stopped by our local pet store just out of curiousity to see what dogs they had. When I went in, being a dog lover, of course all the puppies were cute, but when I laid eyes on THIS particular puppy, I had such a strong heart reaction that I literally could not bring myself to let the shop owner take him out of the cage for fear of never being able to break away!! He had stolen my heart in an INSTANT!

I left the store and went home and told my husband about stopping by the pet store and he suddenly wanted to go to the pet store to see the dogs too! When we walked into the store, I said nothing and my husband (also being a dog lover) thought all the puppies were cute too. But then he stopped and said "But THAT dog," pointing to the one who had stolen my heart "he is the ONE!" My heart leaped for joy and I finally told him what happened when I laid eyes on this dog too! We both were smitten by his funny little face!

We took him out of the cage and he came home with us that very day. The owner of the shop said that he had just gotten the dog from the breeder that day and the dog hadn't been in the store for more than 2 hours before he was already going home to his new family!!

He sure was one lucky dog, so that's why we named him LUCKY!
