My husband wanted a jack russell and I wanted a shih tzu, so we ended up with a mix. I think it was a strange experiment in breeding and we ended up with a very unique canine indeed. He is extremely anxious all the time, barks like a nut case at everything and everyone. He won't let us give him a bath or brush him. He needs to be sedated when he goes to the groomers. We're afraid to invite company over because he is so mean to people he doesn't recognize at the initial greeting. We definately needs professional help, but I wouldn't trade him in for another dog in the world.
