WATER! Chaos's Story & Details
I was not looking for a dog at all when my niece showed up one day with Chaos. He was about 6-9 months old, and I believe she acquired him for "protection".
I insisted in teaching Chaos some basic obedience before letting them both run loose in the neighborhood! well, as you might have guessed, she lost interest with him within a few weeks, and I was paired-up with Chaos for the long-haul. We bonded in a few hours, and I discovered that the was abused. He had a wide leather collar that was too tight and chafing, but the worst part was the twisted wire-tie around his collar, evidently used as a impromptu leash or tie-up! He had a pretty nasty gouge in his neck, but he was a real trooper about the wound. When I fitted him with a new, proper collar, I was his new best friend...and still am! He also has an aversion to: water, shouting, any thing held in the hand in a manner similar to a weapon, and any contemplative eye contact.
I still get choked-up when I recall how I found him, and the meanness some people display toward animals.
I hope you enjoy meeting Chaos, because he loves being around dog fanciers!
