Found in an abandoned backyard starving, mauled, & pregnant. Peggy was scheduled to be put down the day after she was found, but had her puppies that night. A saint from the shelter contacted a rescue from PA, & Peggy's foster mother went down to get her & the puppies. One Peggy was healthy & the puppies had homes of their own, Peggy was put up for adoption. Peggy is our first!!! I say that I did not rescue her, but that Peggy rescued me!!
