Reximus Maximus 's Story & Details
I found Rex on craigslist, and fell in love with him immediately. The woman wasn't asking for anything, but I gave her $60 to prove my sincerity in wanting to give him a good home. He became attached to my hip, and I found that he helps me as a therapy/disability animal, even though he has had no prior training. He warns me of asthma attacks, and helps me during them by licking my face and lying next to or on me, he leads me through the house when my M.S. affects my vision, and alerts me to knocking or ringing when my hearing is gone. I quickly discovered he's a bit possessive, as no one can sit or lie next to me without him wedging himself between us, but he's nothing but a big baby. I could not have asked for a more perfect dog. I have never loved a dog as much as I love my Reximus, and I don't know what I'd do without him. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for the last two years, but we're in no hurry, as Rex can be a handful at times, but he's my baby boy, and never ceases to make me smile!
