Dunkin's Story & Details
About 18 months ago, I tried out fostering for a Lab group that rescued many black labs and others from TX and got them adopted in the Northeast. I live in CT and would receive the dogs off the truck and care for them while they were being placed. Dunkin was only my fifth dog, and while the others had left me in 2-7 days' time, he stuck around for over a month and no one seemed interested in adopting him. Long story short, he stole my heart and claimed me as his mom and i haven't regretted a day since. Who rescued who, I wonder?
