Reba's Story & Details
I went looking for a dog of my own and went to a few places one weekend. I found a border collie online and went to the Petsmart in Dublin on my way home from seeing other dogs up for adoption. The border collie was much too big for my apartmet but so darn cute. There were 3 play pens, 2 with small dogs all barking and trying to get attention. I saw a little black dog in the corner of the little dog pen asleep! She looked like a mini aussie, and I had lost my Aussie 2 years ago. I asked to see her and pulled her to the side of Petsmart where it was quiet. She was shy and scared at first but then suddenly sat in my lap and wouldn't stop giving me kisses, I fell in love instantly. I adopted her right then and there. The Laton Animal and Rescue care staff was so happy because she had become part of their family in a way and they were really happy someone could take good care of Reba. Reba's sister had been adopted 6 months before her and I am so glad that Reba was there waiting for me, it was destiny!
