Bella is one of 7 puppies found along the side of a highway in Marion, NC. She was picked up by Mercy Animal Rescue. That is where my wife and I saw her picture on the internet. We were not really looking for a dog at the time but when we saw her little face, we had to have her. We called Mercy Animal Rescue up and got started on the adoption process right away and that is when they told us about her brothers and sisters too. Someone apparently dumped them off along side of the highway with no food or water. They began to tell us about the "runt" of the litter that was a little boy all black with white on just the tip of his back foot... I talked it over with my wife and we couldn't help but to adopt him too! Now the two little runts can have a sibling as their playmate for life. They love each other to death and do nothing but play alllll day long. They won't go anywhere without each other. They are definately going to grow old together...
