Rocky's Story & Details
Rocky is new to us. We got him at a pound adoption fair on December 13 and it was instant love. Due to his chip implant, we were able to get his history. He was the companion, from puppyhood to age 5, of an older gentleman who became terminally ill and was sent into hospice. His children were not very fond of Rocky ("too much work") and they just let him out on the street to fend for himself. He was in the county shelter from Feb.2, 2008 to Dec. 12, 2008.
Rocky loves us both, but is mainly my (Mommy's) boy. He is loyal, funny, clever and wonderful company while hubby is at work. His brush with pancreatitis has made him even more precious to us. He was 3 days in the veterinary hospital on fluids and drugs and has recovered well. We are extremely careful about what he eats.
