New Breeder Question

She is an Apricot with Silver and Red parents - so there is a tendency to want to cross her with a Red male. The offspring should be significantly Red - a highly desirable color in Standard poodles. Our neighbor has a male Miniature Schnauzer (Apricot color) the two of them really get along well - we have talked about the potential mix. Usually I see discussion about a standard and a standard - what about a Miniature Male Schnauzer and a Standard Female Poodle Mix?
