my poor princess

While having a water fight with my nephews the other day, we looked over and noticed Chloe, our loving pure bred golden retriever wanting to play. We let her out of the kennel and noticed she was quite bigger than she used to be.( she was the runt of the litter and was always on the small side)... she was not playing with the kids like normal either,cowering behind me and my husband and not running around like the spaz does when she first gets let out. After bringing her in the house we figured out she was pregnant after calling a friend who breeds dogs. After thinking about it for awhile,we remembered the policemen coming up to our house with her one morning ...(she was an escape artist for quite awhile after we got our kennel) he was saying he found her running the neighbor hood with a basset hound. I am hoping that she just found a new girlfriend to run the neighbor hood watch with but just in case does anyone know what a cross between the two would be? im quite worried, and im hoping she mated with the neighbors golden lab.....
