My dogs extremely nervous and curious! One night my husband decided it seemed cruel to make her sleep in her crate and he would let her sleep on the foot of our bed! Well I come home from work at around 1:00 AM and she's laying in the floor asleep in the midst of shredded paper, chewed plastic, and all kinds of stuffing and garbage! I look around and through all the trash to try to figure out what she chewed, and low and behold she found my memory stick in the front of my desk top computer and chewed it into several hundred little pieces! It had important stuff on it too, like my college papers, my two weeks notices from past jobs, and my resume! I was just standing there shocked from what I discovered! My husbands like hey honey whats wrong? At this point I just wanted to scream or cry or maybe both! I said to him look at the floor and tell me whats wrong! Not to mention she pee'd in my carpet! Normally she wont go to the bathroom in her crate she has a walk routine first thing in the morning! I was so mad he promised to clean it in the morning but didn't and I ended up doing it! I have been struggling with house training her and she is so hyper and nervous and then there's the wanderlust from the beagle! Oh my I may have bitten off more than I could chew!

Pookey is now almost 14 months old. He got bigger than I was told he would, but he's still a small dog. There's one other unexpected thing........which I love! Pookey got shaggy!!! He's exactly the little shaggy dog I'd always dreamed of having! He jumps REALLY high. It's been a bit hectic here with the whole family moving into my house, but I'm going to start trying to teach him tricks. He's terribly energetic, fast, and intelligent, but quite willfull too. If he chases QT up on a chair, and then the table, Pookey follows and is up on the table! Perhaps I can channel that energy and desire to jump into a more productive outlet. Wish me luck!
