First Nose Work ORT

I am taking Logan to his very first ORT (Odor Recognition Test) tonight. I am very excited and a little nervous. I have no idea how he will do. The ORT is the first step in the sport of K9 Nose Work. It is a fun and exciting sport that gives the dog the chance to do what they love and build a bond with the owner. Wish us luck!!

4 Weeks Today!!

So, it has been four weeks since Lacey's surgery and she seems to be making progress. I emailed the surgeon earlier in the week because she is still holding her leg up when she walks around in the backyard. Our backyard is pretty uneven and he said as long as she is walking and making progress on other surfaces everything is probably healing fine and it will just take more time for her to feel more comfortable using it in the backyard. I hope that is the case. I just want the to be the last time we ever have to do this!!!
