First trip to Leesylvania

in Trip to the park
I have a state park close to me that is one of my favorite places to go. I had always taken Scully when we both needed to get out and think or just be together. The other day I took Mulder. He loved it.
We started out our trip with a 2 mile hike on a nature trail. He got to chase lizards and birds and whatever else he could find. He pranced all along the trail checking out everything. He had a blast.
We then got back in the car and drove down to the beach. I figured since he loves the shower so much he would love the beach. Well...he was suprised at the water. When he first heard and saw the waves he was like one of those birds that run in and out as the water comes in and out. He jumped and barked at the waves. He finally got brave and walked down to the edge of the water and tried to investigate. He was very cautious, but he finally put his feet in the water. He then tried to stop the waves from coming. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.
We then walked along the water and he stopped to play in the sand. He rolled in it and smiled the whole time.
We continued our walk down to the boat launches where he sat and watched all the boats coming in and out.
When we finally got home he was one tired pup. But we both had a wonderful time!
