The Affenwich

Rudy is our Affenwich who is the result of the accidental mating of a purebred Affenpincher father and a purebred Norwich mother. The breeder that we got Rudy from raises and shows both Affenpincher and Norwich Terriers. There was an "accident" and as a result Rudy and his sister were born in a litter of only two.

We have had Norfolk Terriers and Rudy is the constant companion of Honey, our four year old Norfolk. Rudy is about 13 to 14 pounds and is about 11 to 12 inches in height. His coat resembles that of a Norwich, but is a little softer and longer. When he was a small pup he was mostly black with what looked like brown highlights. He developed a more dominant reddish coat with some black hairs. He has the prick ears of a Norwich. Unlike our Norfolk terriers, Rudy like to be very close to people and is extremely friendly and affectionate. He loves to hunt and dig for moles in the yard and chase any type of wild critter from rabbits to deer. Hates cats! He does like to bark and gets along extremely well with our female Norfolk and most all other dogs.

We think that this documented 50/50 combination of Norwich and Affenpincher breeding is extremely rare and would be interested in hearing from anyone else that has this designer breed.

Gizmo is my Pomchi

Gizmo is my Pomchi (Chiranian) he was born In Jan of 2007. I'm 47 and in my life have had many dogs. But Gizmo is one of a kind, and by far my favorite. Gizmo is so loving and comical dog I've ever had. Gizmo gets along with our Manchester Terrier and our cat. I think sometimes Gizmo is part cat too. Gizmo is full of energy and loves to play with his toys and my husband, daughter and I. Gizmo is long haired and tri colored, he looks like a little Lassie. Gizmo weighs almost 5 lbs most of that is hair lol. Gizmo has a very delightful temperment, he loves everyone. I've had total strangers see us outside and stop and want to know what he is and tell me how cute he is. Alot of people think he's a Papillon or even a Sheltie. I would recommend the breed highly. If my husband would let me I'd have more then one Pomchi, I would love to be able raise them.

The best breed out there

tank is about 5 months now and I couldn't ask for a better pup he is calm and knows when its time to play. when he was only a few weeks old I had him ringing a bell to go outside he is a quick learner, it only takes two tries and he has it down for good. I believe that I will always have a New Labralound in my home. they are great with kids and other animals the newfie in them really makes for a calm dog, where the lab in him allows him to be spunky and playful but still well mannered. I couldn't ask for a better companion than Tank. I reccomend the breed to anyone looking for a great family extentsion.

Great Dog

My bulloxer is 4 she is a great dog. I have no complaints with the breed, shes very friendly,I have 2 kids that she plays with has never shown any aggretion with them or with new people. However i dont think there ok for an apartment. There a big dog sometimes clumsey, and need some room, and a fence, mine likes to be curious. Her sire was a american bull and her mom was a boxer I wish I never got her fixed cause her pups would be beautifull...

My dog the Pitchow

Being a Pit Chow and hearing other people talk, I was worried that she would be mean or unpredictable. She is dominant and independent, but is friendly and gentle with me and my family and friends. This might be a little strange, but to say how gentle she is, I can take a strip of beef jerky and do like the scene on "Lady and the Tramp" .. I can put it in my mouth and she can chew the end that is sticking out without biting me or tugging.
