Living with a Scoodle

Temperament: Scoodles are sweet, loving, intelligent and attentive dogs.

Shedding: Scoodles are average shedders.

Grooming: Scoodles have a medium length coat and thus should be brushed regularly to keep it from matting. Scoodles should be bathed when needed.

Training: Scoodles are fairly easy to train.

Barking: The Scoodle is not an excessive barker, but do like to bark at other dogs, although they typically get along well after the initial barking is over.

Exercise: The Scoodle needs lots of exercise. They can get plenty of exercise with indoor games and toys, but love outdoor walks or trips to the doggie park.

Living Conditions: Scoodles make a great indoor pet and can get all of their required exercise inside.

Size: Scoodles are around 10 inches tall and weigh between 18 - 20 pounds when fully grown.

Companionship: The Scoodle really loves to be with their wners all the time and can get little stressed if left alone for long periods of time.

Body: The Scoodle has a traditional square scottie stance with legs that are nearly twice as long as their Scottish ancestors.

Gait: The Scoodle has a gait that is rather more like a Poodle.

Coat: Scoodles have a medium length, silky, wavy coat which is prone to tangling.
