MY BEST DOG EVER!

My 8 mo. old whoodle loves life!! You'll be hard pressed to find a happier, more playful, confident and agreeable companion. Can be trusted with anyone, big or small. Loves our cat and parakeet too! EXTREMELY social.

Solid black with brownish beard. Non-shedding. Soft, soft, soft as a Webkinz! Thick wavy coat, not kinky. For stunning appearance and comfort, has a clean puppy cut, with medium length beard and tail. Needs frequent brushing to prevent matting.

Poodle traits, physical and temperamental, seem to be dominant. Extremely graceful. Prances like a thoroughbred. Curly tail.

50 lbs. and counting, at 8 mos. Were told they usually don't get over 45!

Very sensitive to heat and sun. Always seeks shade. Seems oblivious to cold.

Almost NEVER barks, not even at the front door. Used to bark a little at our hamster, but no longer.

Moderate exercise - sprinter more than a long distance guy. 3 to 4 20 min. walks/day are plenty.

Extremely intelligent, but stubborn at times. Hates going to bed, but crating no longer necessary. Been leaving him out alone during the day for past 4 months, and NEVER any trouble or destruction inside the house.

Serious scavenger when outdoors - chews and eats everything in sight, even rocks. Hopefully, just a puppy thing.

Trained with a soft, gentle hand - no harsh tones or tactics necessary. Give lots of positive reinforcement, and he lives to please.

Got him from a pet store, believe it or not. No health problems to date - knock on wood.

Our Pugshire

Our Pugshire has the head of a Yorkie and the body of a Pug, and his nose mid-way between the two. He is absolutely gorgeous and gets attention everywhere he goes. He does bark quite a lot, but not as much as a Yorkie. He does like to talk though! He is the most gentle dog. He is so friendly, and always wants to meet new people. He does lick quite a lot. We have had numerous comments on how he is the most kind natured dog people have met. Despite him being so gentle, he does have an extremely silly streak. He is bizarre at times! He is definately a big dog in a small dog's body, but he doesn't know that. He thinks he has the big body too. Excellent, very loyal and protective when needs to be. Not a very energetic breed, has outbursts throughout the day and then relaxes. Take for one walk a day between 30mins-hour. Can go for long walks (up to four hours so far) and will sleep for hours after.

Proud Parent of a Shihpoo

I've been the proud parent of my shihpoo for nearly a year and I couldn't be happier. My dog is two and is a joy to have. He is pretty laid back. He barks occasionally, but that's usually just at the doorbell. He loves everyone--he likes to give kisses and to have his belly rubbed. If there's something going on, he makes sure he's part of it. He does not do well when he's left alone. He tends to cry and whimper a bit, but as soon as I walk in the door, he greets me as if I'd been gone for 10 years. He is playful in random spurts. He has about three favorite toys that he plays with throughout the day, but he prefers to cuddle with others as opposed to entertaining himself. He puts up grooming really well. He is good in the bathtub and during brushings. Groomers always tell me how well behaved he is when I take him in for a haircut. If you're considering getting a shihpoo, do it! You won't regret it.

Poodle or Poogle

I don't believe it, but my supposedly pure poodle is in fact, a poodle beagle (according to a blood test submitted for DNA testing) But, Lucy Latte is the most loving, smartest, dearest little pup ever. She is Ms. Personality and everyone in my neighborhood knows her. Lucy is very fast, loves to fetch, wrestle with other pups, and licks my face. She also loves men! That must be the French poodle part. All in all, I love her.

My Kashon is the perfect companion

My Kashon is the perfect companion. She enjoys my company, but can be alone. She enjoys children and adults. She is occasionally a little aggressive when meeting other dogs, but with correction becomes playful. She loves walking and has a clock in her head: she knows exactly, to the minute, when she is supposed to go on her walk. She will rise from wherever she is and wait by the door for her walk. She rarely barks, but cries when she is frustrated or nervous. She is not a watchdog, but she is very smart and will sniff towards any change in the environment.

Pom Terrier

We have had our Pom Terrier for about a year and a half. Her name is Nutmeg. We wouldn't trade her for the world. She is a very active, friendly dog. She loves playing fetch and running laps like she is in a race. It is hilarious. Every time we return home she acts like she hasn't seen us in years when some times in reality we could be gone for just a few minutes. I am not sure why but she is scared of small children. She doesn't get aggressive towards them she kind of shys away. She likes to sleep in our bed some times. She will crawl under the covers and go all the way to the foot of the bed. It's pretty cool. She is a healthy dog other than her eyes water some. I am not sure if all of this designer breed has the same disposition, but if they do, they are a great companion dog. I would definately recommend them to anyone looking for that type of dog. She is also a great playmate for older children.
